Dr Rakesh Chandru. K is the first qualified Endocrine Surgeon and an active practitioner in the Southern districts (Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari) of Tamilnadu. He had his basic surgical training (M.S. General surgery) from Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He has completed super specialty training in Endocrine Surgery (Mch) from the prestigious Madras Medical College.

He has extensive experience in dealing with Endocrine disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pancreas, and multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes. He is specialized in performing complicated thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.He has got various publications in the field of Endocrine surgery in indexed medical
journals.
